Michael Deans aka MDNZ found his passion for music through being exposed to the likes of Pendulum and The Prodigy from an early age.
Skip forward to 2019, MDNZ had crafted his sound and was signed to ÜPthemusic.
His first EP release on the label, “Snatch and Grab” was taken extremely well to his Manawatu fan base where he played the 2020 Lot Party alongside headline artist Montell2099 and closed UP the Underground following TREI.
